Gotta Love this Spoon!
My sister got me this spoon last year, and I just bought 2 more because I use it for everything when I am cooking! I used to be a diehard old school wooden spoon user, but I have been converted. I even bought them for lots of people I know for Christmas this year. Check it out in my amazon store.

Power Washers!!!
My husband and I decided that the time has come to deal with our dirt and algae covered deck. We borrowed a power washer to get the job done and now I have a serious addiction! I can’t get enough. I want to power wash everything. The deck, the front, porch, the concrete steps, the siding, the driveway, you name it and I will power wash it!
Here is a taste of the power of power washing…
There is something so satisfying about blasting years of dirt away in seconds!

Sriracha!
This hot sauce is amazing and makes everything more interesting! I first had this when my husband introduced me to his favorite meal: Pho. When we first met, I once asked him if he could only eat one thing for the rest of his life what would it be. He told me he would choose pho. I had no idea what this was. He tried to explain that it was a Vietnamese noodle soup, but I didn’t really understand the appeal until I had my first bowl. The broth has some of the most interesting flavors in it and when you add Sriracha it becomes amazing! Pho is one thing I have never attempted to make and probably never will because I know I can drive a few minutes away and get a great bowl of pho. However, I will be posting two of my favorite recipes that use Sriracha very soon.

I love these oranges! They have incredible flavor, they are seedless, and they are very easy to peel. They are very similar to clementines, but with a different flavor. ”Cuties” is the perfect name for them because they are small and cute. Here is one of the smaller ones I have seen.

I can’t believe I didn’t discover scrubbing bubbles sooner. I always thought their ads were too good to be true. How can you not have to scrub when you are cleaning a bathroom? Then a coupon came into my life and I decided to try it. Wow! I seriously just spray this on, wait a minute, and wipe it off. It is amazing how clean and shiny my bathroom is after I use this. Things that looked dull for years are shiny! I will never go back to using anything else when it comes to soap scum and other bathroom buildup!

Toto’s Heated Toilet Seat
When I was in Japan I discovered the joy of heated toilet seats. I was there in December and January and it was so amazing to come in out of the cold to use the restroom and sit down on a warm toilet seat! Its one of those luxuries you don’t think about or know about until you have it and then it goes away. Since we bought our house (and have been keeping the temperature low during one of the coldest winters DC has had in a long time) I have found myself missing these toilets more than ever. How nice would it be to have a warm toilet when I get up in the morning! The good news – they are available in the US. The bad news – they cost about $500! For a toilet seat! Still, I find myself wondering if it would be worth it. :-) If you are curious, check out my amazon store and the toto website, and don’t miss the videos: washlet 101 and why it’s better.
